Debate Team Hosts 2017 William Tennent Invitational

On Saturday, November 4, 2017 the William Tennent Debate hosted team the 2017 William Tennent Invitational. Debate Team Competes in PCFL Tournament

On Saturday, 10/7, William Tennent’s Debate Team competed in the PCFL Tournament at the Hill School Congratulations to the following team members for their performances!   1st Place in Varsity Public Forum Debate: Tom Ford and Nick Simila 4th Place in Varsity Lincoln Douglas Debate: Ethan Knox 2nd Place in Junior Varsity Extemporaneous Speaking: Ethan Baker

WT Debate Competes in Dallastown, PA

The William Tennent Debate Team travelled to Dallastown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 12 to face competition from three states. Honors included semifinalist in Varsity Lincoln-Douglas, semifinalist in novice Lincoln-Douglas, semifinalist in extemporaneous, and a close out in program oral interpretation, capturing 1st and 2nd place. Congratulations to the William Tennent debate team for capturing 1st place Junior Varsity Debate Sweepstakes in Philadelphia Catholic Forensic League action on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Unionville High School.  Individual awards included 1st and 2nd place in Junior Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate and 1st place in Junior Varsity Policy Debate

William Tennent Debate Finishes 3rd

William Tennent captured 3rd place in Junior Varsity debate out of 12 schools in Philadelphia Catholic Forensic League action at Strath Haven on Saturday, October 8, 2016.  Individually, sophomores Lars Midthassel and Ethan Knox finished 2nd and 3rd in JV Lincoln Douglas debate, respectively.
