Indoor Track – Update

From Coach Murphy: Joe Roller competed at the “Last Chance” meet on Friday night, and finished his season with 2 good races. Joe ran the 60m dash and the 200m. Coming off an illness, Joe ran really well and is looking forward to a month of off-season work before the Spring track season.   Makala Hansen

From Coach Murphy: The indoor track regular season came to an end this weekend, and Tennent came through with another great weekend of results. For the 3rd week in a row, and 4th time this year, the team finished the weekend with over 10 PR’s. 9 on the boys side and 2 on the girls

Bux-mont Indoor Track Results

From Coach Murphy: Both of the men’s and women’s indoor track teams competed at last week’s Bux-Mont championship’s and Tennent really impressed. For the 3rd time this season, we had over 10 PR’s in one meet. Tennent came away with 2 event wins, 2 other top 3 finishes and 3 top 5’s.    Makala Hansen


FROM COACH MURPHY: WT track continued their successful indoor campaign this weekend. Between the Men’s and Women’s team we had over 10 personal records broken, and a few medals brought home. On Friday night, Makala Hansen ran a 5:25 mile, took 4th in the event and qualified for the meet of champions. On the boys


From Coach Murphy: Makala Hansen took 3rd in the 3000m with a time of 11:04. She qualified for Meet of Champions and now has one of the fastest freshman times in the state for the event. McKenna Craig took 10th in the 800m with a 9 second improvement from her last 800. She ran a 2:39.
