Colin Walsh continued his strong play at the District One Golf Tournament with an even par 72 on the second day of competition at Turtle Creek Golf Club. Colin shot one under par (35) on the front. He moved to 2 under par on the day with a two putt birdie after driving the green on the treacherous 12th hole. By the time he bogeyed the 16th and 17th, Colin was securely in position to move on. He finished his day with a par that resulted in his 5th place finish.
Colin will continue his season as he competes on Monday (10/16) in the PIAA Eastern Regional Tournament at Golden Oaks Golf Club. Colin is the first William Tennent male golfer to qualify for Districts three times, the first to finish in the top 5 at Districts and the first since 2005 to qualify for Regionals.
