Win or lose, this was William Tennent Football’s best performance of the year. The team showed up for the bright lights of the homecoming game and the crowds chants could be heard from the first snap to the last. Mitchell Vierling’s debut game lived up to the hype as he confidently led his offense to 3 scoring drives accumulating to 20 points. Mitchell looked surprisingly poised and confident despite all the eyes on him throwing 3 touchdowns and spreading the ball to his sure handed receivers. at times the offense looked unstoppable.Tennen’ts new found arial attack gave junior running back Sean Bragen opportunities to run rampant on Souderton’s front 7 as he had a respectful performance. The unsung hero was Tyler lynch as he blocked great at the wide receiver position and recovered 2 fumbles. Unfortunately, Tennent lost a tough one to Souderton as the defense struggled to get off the field. The Panthers might be winless but there is hope for years to come due to the roster’s youth and resilience in such a rough stretch of games. its safe to say that the future is bright for William Tennent.
